New South Indian Street Food Spot in Easton, Bristol

We were thrilled to open the doors to our latest Pappu Dosa location in Easton earlyer , bringing the bold, authentic taste of South Indian vegetarian street food even closer to the heart of Bristol. Just a short walk from the city centre, the new spot quickly became a buzzing hub for both our regulars and new faces eager to experience the flavours we’re known for.

This location marked a big milestone for us — with 85 seats, it’s our largest space yet. We created a warm, casual dining environment where everyone could sit back, relax, and enjoy their food. Whether a quick lunch or family dinners, the Easton store offeres plenty of room for people to gather and share great food together.

One of the highlights of this new location was the expansive kitchen. With more space and upgraded equipment, our chefs are now able to work their magic even more efficiently. It allows us to prepare more dishes, maintain the highest quality, and continue cooking everything from scratch using authentic recipies.

Opening in Easton was a natural step for us. The area’s vibrant community and cultural mix felt like the perfect fit for Pappu Dosa. The response since we opened has been incredible — we’ve felt so welcomed by the neighbourhood and are proud to be part of such a lively and food-loving corner of the city.

Opening our new Easton location is a significant milestone for us,” says Tim Darling Rushworth, Founder of Pappu Dosa. “We’ve always been committed to delivering authentic South Indian street food, and this bigger space allows us to bring that experience to even more people. The response from the community has been amazing, and we’re excited to share our passion for great, fresh food with even more customers in Bristol.

This expansion has meant a lot to our whole team. From humble beginnings as a food truck to now running multiple locations, it's been a rewarding journey — and it’s all thanks to the amazing support of our customers. If you haven’t visited the Easton store yet, we’d love to see you. The dosas are hot, the sambar’s fresh, and we’re always happy to see you.
